Randy Caruso and the Dead Puppet Show
"the photos came naturally after digging around in the boxes of puppet remains. I thought they would last forever, but now as I pull them out, they're disintegrating. It appeared it was time to bury it in the yard for future generations, but then I thought, why not now?, why not dig this stuff up now and show it in THIS form, its got its own beauty just as it is. In fact, I like it better now than the original." Most of the photographs are of puppets created for a student project called Jerrick Imagine around 1989, the project (a film) failed spectacularly in almost every way. |
